Our Commitment

Status Tiger, operated by SnapIT Software, does not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

We do not exchange your data for money, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

In Plain Language

We never sell your data. We never rent it. We never share it for targeted advertising across unrelated websites. Your monitors, incidents, and account information are used only to deliver the Status Tiger service you signed up for.

Your California Privacy Rights

California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:

  • Right to Know - Request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you
  • Right to Delete - Request that we delete your personal information
  • Right to Correct - Request that we correct inaccurate personal information
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing - You already have this by default, because we don't sell or share
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information - We only use sensitive information to provide the service
  • Right to Non-Discrimination - We will never penalize you for exercising any of these rights

Categories of Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information to provide our monitoring service:

  • Identifiers - name, email address, IP address, account ID
  • Commercial information - subscription plan, billing records (processed by Stripe)
  • Internet activity - login sessions, monitor configurations, API usage
  • Geolocation - approximate location derived from IP for rate limiting and abuse prevention only

Third-Party Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. These are service providers, not sales:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) - hosting and infrastructure
  • Stripe - payment processing
  • Google - OAuth sign-in (only if you choose to use it)
  • Amazon SES - transactional email (alerts, notifications)

None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a request to know, delete, correct, or limit the use of your personal information, email us at privacy@statustiger.com from the email address associated with your account.

We will verify your identity by confirming that you control the email address on file, and we will respond within 45 days as required by law. If more time is needed, we will notify you of the extension and the reason.

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written authorization signed by you.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information, this signal has no material effect on our processing, but we recognize it as a valid opt-out preference signal.

Changes to This Notice

If we ever change our practices such that we would begin selling or sharing personal information, we will update this page, change the "Last Updated" date above, and provide prominent notice before the change takes effect, giving you an opportunity to opt out.
